June 1, 2024 | Frank’s 2nd annual Camp Huddle Up

On Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET, Frank Ragnow hosted his 2nd annual Camp Huddle Up at the YMCA Camp Ohiyesa in Holly, MI.
The purpose of Frank’s Camp Huddle Up is to provide a safe and fun space for grieving children, ages 4 to 17, to get together, bond, build community, and create everlasting memories through the outdoors.

Frank, along with his Detroit Lions teammate, Matt Farniok, were in attendance to host the half-day camp for 37 campers. This year, Rags Remembered added a grief-based art exercise/activity to the existing Archery, Wildlife Skills and Fishing activities for the campers. This was staffed by the professionals from the SandCastles Grief Support Program to provide the children with insightful ways to cope with their grief.

May 16, 2024 | Frank’s 2nd annual Skeet Shoot Showdown

On Thursday, May 16, 2024, Frank Ragnow hosted his 2nd annual Skeet Shoot Showdown, Presented by Bob Brooks Computer Sales Inc. and Brother International, at Bald Mountain Shooting Range to raise funds for The Rags Remembered Foundation outreach programs. Frank was joined by his Detroit Lions teammates: Sam La Porta, Penei Sewell, Brock Wright, Shane Zylstra, Colby Sorsdal, Kayode Awosika, Graham Glasgow, Tom Kennedy, Matt Farniok, Tommy Kraemer (former Lion), Netane Muti, Scott Daly, Michael Niese, Parker Hesse, and Jack Campbell.

January 7, 2024 | Frank Ragnow’s 4th Huddle-at-Home

On Sunday, January 7, 2024, The Rags Remembered Foundation provided four families and grief counselors from Angela Hospice in Michigan with Frank’s 4th Huddle-at-Home game day watch party, complete with a personal video message from Frank, Lions party supplies, games, Foundation swag (signed photos by Frank and Foundation bags), and catering from Applebee’s. The group was able to cheer on Frank and see the Lions beat the Vikings 30-20. All the children receive grief care from Angela Hospice and will be extended invitations to Frank’s Camp Huddle Up in June 2024.

September 22, 2023 | Frank Ragnow’s 2nd Fishin’ for Memories

On Friday, September 22, 2023, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM ET, Frank Ragnow, along with his Detroit Lions teammates and wife, Lucy Ragnow, hosted Frank’s 2nd annual Fishin’ for Memories outreach program for eight grieving families (including 16 kids) at Lake St. Clair Metropark, Shelter K. The families were invited through local hospice organizations to join Frank for the afternoon to fish and create new memories with their family members. The Detroit Lions who attended were Colby Sorsdal, Romeo Okawara, Michael Badgley, and Jack Fox.

June 10, 2023 | Frank Ragnow’s Camp Huddle Up

Frank, Lucy, and some of Frank’s Detroit Lions teammates helped host Frank’s first Camp Huddle Up at the YMCA Camp Ohiyesa, providing a half-day of outdoor adventure to 27 kids, ages 4-17, who are grieving the loss of a family member or close loved one .Campers got to fish with Frank and Lucy, try out archery, learn how to build a fire and enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities with Roary the Lion and YMCA staff. Thanks to the Angela Hospice Greif Care team that helped us host the campers, providing them with insightful ways to deal with grief.

May 18, 2023 | Frank Ragnow’s Skeet Shoot Showdown

On Thursday, May 18, 2023, Detroit Lions center, Frank Ragnow, hosted his inaugural Skeet Shoot Showdown fundraising event at the Bald Mountain Shooting Range in Lake Orion, Michigan. The event was presented by Motor City Computer and the Detroit Lions.

During the Skeet Shoot, Frank was joined by his wife, Lucy, along with several of his Detroit Lions teammates: Penei Sewell, Graham Glasgow, Obinna Eze, Kayode Awosika, Logan Stenberg, Ross Piersbacher, Big V ( H. Vatai), Shane Zylstra, Brock Wright, Amon Ra St. Brown, and Tom Kennedy. Dylan Larkin of the Detroit Red Wings was also in attendance to auction of his signed jersey to Penei.

January 8, 2023 | Frank’s 3rd Huddle-at-Home Game Day program

Frank and Lucy Ragnow provided three kids, E’meir, E’mari, and Keira, with Frank’s third Huddle-at-Home, game day watch party on Sunday, January 8, 2023. The children lost their mother in April 2021 and are now living with their grandmother; doing their best to cope and grieve healthy. The Rags Remembered Foundation was happy to provide these three kids with a VIP watch party experience so they can all hang out together and create new memories. The kids received a special video message from Frank, a visit from Lucy Ragnow at their home, Lions themed party decorations, signed footballs by Frank, catering from Applebee’s and more.

Frank and Lucy Ragnow provided three girls, Kaylie, Maliah, and Niema, with Frank’s second Huddle-at-Home, game day watch party at their home in Michigan on Sunday, December 18, 2022. The girls lost their cousin in an accident recently and are doing their best to grieve healthily. The Rags Remembered Foundation provided the girls and their mom with the ultimate tailgate watch party, complete with decorations, signed footballs, food from Applebee’s and more to watch the Detroit Lions take down the New York Jets in 4th quarter. The girls also received a special video message from Frank and a visit from Lucy Ragnow at their home.

December 4, 2022 | Frank’s 1st Huddle-at-Home Game Day program

Frank and Lucy Ragnow provided two young boys, Clint and Porter, with Frank’s first Huddle-at-Home, game day watch party at their home in Michigan. Clint and Porter tragically lost their older brother, Grant, on February 22, 2021 by suicide. Both Clint and Porter miss their brother dearly and are doing their best to grieve healthily. The Rags Remembered Foundation provided the boys and their friends with the ultimate tailgate and watch party, complete with decorations, signed footballs, food from Applebee’s and more to watch the Detroit Lions defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars 40 to 14.
